Bike Park Rules

Operation

Bike Park Kope (hereinafter BP Kope) operates according to the schedule published on the official website (https://www.kope.si/aktivnosti-na-kopah/bike-park/) and/or at the park's location. Operations depend on weather conditions and technical requirements. The park is typically open from spring to autumn, with possible adjustments due to snow or maintenance.

Use of Chairlifts and Drag Lifts

Chairlifts and drag lifts are intended for transporting bikers and their bikes to the top of the trails. Use is permitted only with a valid ticket or season pass. Bikers must follow staff instructions, adhere to safe entry/exit procedures, and properly secure their bikes. Transport is strictly prohibited for individuals under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or other psychoactive substances.

Biking Infrastructure

BP Kope offers a variety of trails, ranging from easy (green), suitable for all skill levels, to highly demanding (black), appropriate for very experienced bikers. Trails are regularly maintained, but natural factors (rain, erosion) may affect their daily condition.

Trail Markings

  • Green - Beginner: Suitable for beginners and families.
  • Blue - Intermediate: For bikers with basic experience.
  • Red - Advanced: For experienced bikers.
  • Black - Expert: Highly demanding, suitable for very experienced bikers.
  • Double Black - Pro line: The most challenging line in the park, suitable for highly experienced/professional bikers.

Trail Use

Trails are exclusively for biking in the designated direction. Walking, running, or other activities on the trails are prohibited, except for maintenance or rescue operations. Using trails outside operating hours or without a valid ticket is not permitted. Bikers are advised to start with green (beginner) trails and gradually progress to more difficult trails based on their skill level.
